Some days are better than others, today is one of those days! I got to work this morning, made some coffee and headed into studio to start the day. Still waking up I stumble about firing up all the systems, preparing for another exciting and rewarding day in broadcasting.

Then I see it, a package on the control board. I open it up and it's the 30th anniversary re-release of Judas Priest's 'Screaming For Vengeance'. HELL YEAH! Radio has it's perks, that's right I got an advance copy! It certainly doesn't suck to be me that's for sure.

The newly remastered and remixed double disk album will be available on (09-03-12) It includes the original studio album 'Screaming For Vengeance' with additional bonus tracks that include previously unreleased material as well as live tracks. Plus the bonus live D.V.D. that showcases the band and their legendary performance at the 1983 US Festival show in San Bernadino, California on 29th May 1983 A must own for every Judas Priest fan!

The 30th anniversary edition leaves nothing out. From the music, live footage and even the liner notes, photos and packaging. There's even an introduction from Eddie Trunk of VH1 and 'That Metal Show'. Check out the release trailer:
