Michael Bay's 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' won this weekend at the box office, and is the first film in 2014 to cross the hundred million dollar mark over its opening weekend. And now, as is often the case, Paramount has teased their limited edition Blu-ray for the film, which has a collectable that recreates one of the film's best images: Optimus Prime riding a dinobot!

Though 'Pacific Rim' only made a little over a hundred million dollars domestically, the film had not only passionate fans, but a much larger audience internationally, which helped bring the $200 million project into a place where today director Guillermo del Toro announced that 'Pacific Rim 2' will hit theaters April 7, 2017.

Yesterday word broke that Shane Black, who starred in the franchise's first entry, would be directing a reboot of 'Predator.' But when reached for comment, Black clarified that he would not reboot, but is plotting an "inventive sequel." Could Arnold Schwarzenegger return?

It's a Shane Black kind of news day, as not only has it been announced that Black will be directing Fox's latest 'Predator' reboot, he's also still hard at work on his adaptation of 'Doc Savage' and has met with Chris Hemsworth about playing the title character.

Sylvester Stallone has had two great franchise characters, Rocky Balboa and John Rambo, and was able to resurrect both over the last decade successfully. But though Balboa's gloves are hung up (even if Stallone recently paid homage to that character), it looks like we're going to get a 'Rambo 5' that promises to be one of the most thoughtful of the series' sequels.

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' is starting to ramp up their marketing and will release a new trailer this week (which will surely be in front of producer Michael Bay's new movie 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'). But as we wait for that trailer, new character posters have been released that feature Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello.

Recently 'Bourne 5' was delayed almost an entire year from August 14, 2015 into the more prime real estate of July 15, 2016. Could it be the real reason was to accommodate original star Matt Damon's return to the series? That's the latest rumor.

Though we're still a year away from the release of 'Jurassic Park 4,' director Colin Trevorrow wants us to know that the dinosaurs are coming, and that some will be done with practical effects, as he's just teased a first glimpse at one of the dinos!

Sorry Vinny Chase, you've been replaced; Jason Momoa has been added to 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' as Aquaman. Considering that the film is something of a warm up for 'Justice League,' it looks like they've got one more player in place for future sequels/spinoffs.

With 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' underperforming at the box office, Sony may not be able to keep with their current timeline for sequels, and word is that 'The Amazing Spider-Man 3' is being pushed off of its June 10, 2016 release date and in to 2017.
