Although Black Flag have been entrenched with lawsuits and changes in band members, the punk legends have just announced their 2014 'Victimology' North American tour. Opening for the band will be Black Flag guitarist Greg Ginn's experimental act HOR and Brooklyn punk duo Cinema Cinema.

Black Flag currently consists of Greg Ginn, drummer Gregory Moore and band manager / pro skater Mike Vallely on vocals. Vallely reportedly kicked former singer Ron Reyes offstage two songs before the band's final 2013 Australian show, taking over the mic for the remainder of the gig. Reyes wrote that he felt "a sense of great relief" while leaving the stage, and just two months after that moment, Mike V had been named Black Flag's new singer.

"I'm excited about performing songs from the entire Black Flag catalog," says Vallely. "I feel confident in my ability to communicate the songs — To give them their due respect and yet still make them my own. Ginn's songwriting is truly timeless and it gives all of the material relevance right here, right now."

Due to legal reasons, the current incarnation of Black Flag exists along with Flag, which consists of original Black Flag members Keith Morris and Chuck Dukowski, Descendents legends Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton, along with Dez Cadena.
