It's music's biggest night. The 60th Annual Grammy Awards have moved to New York this year and the artists have started arriving at Madison Square Garden for the show's telecast this evening as well as the Grammy Premiere event taking place beforehand -- where most of the awards are actually presented (including the ones that we care about in the Metal and Rock categories).

Among those turning up early to the red carpet were Body Count, while their frontman Ice-T also walked the carpet separate of the band as well. Nothing More, the rock and metal nominees with the most nominations, turned up together, with notoriously bare-chested singer Jonny Hawkins actually sporting a rather dressed up look. Code Orange had one of the more unique looks, with one of the band's members turning up in a ski mask. And Kaleo also posed for photos as a tight-knit unit.

A little later on, Mastodon got their due winning for Best Metal Performance, while metal also got a performance spotlight with Body Count's blistering performance of "Black Hoodie" in front of the Grammy crowd.

We'll update this post as more photos come in, so keep checking back. And be sure to tune into CBS this evening as the 60th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will air at 7:30PM ET.
