According to Abilene Police Chief Stan Stanridge, shortly after 6pm on Thursday evening, Abilene Police took Violetta and Phillip Walter into custody in connection with the murder of Officer Don Allen.

UPDATE: In a shooting spree that took place almost three years to the day after shootings in an Aurora, Colorado theater, which took 12 lives, a second victim has died after a 58-year man open fire inside the Grand 16 theater in Lafayette, Louisiana Thursday night.

Police were called to a home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in response to an unknown disturbance call. When authorities arrived at the scene they found five people dead inside the home, two adults and three kids.
