The ever-satisfying Heavy MTL festival, which takes place in Montreal, Canada, every summer, delivered yet again. Death Angel will release their first disc in three years when they unveil ‘The Dream Calls for Blood’ on Oct. 11. Coinciding with the release, the band is plotting a monster tour in support of the album, taking their new music out on the road with some awesome bands.

Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has revealed plans for a North American solo tour kicking off this fall. The intimate ‘Songbook’ tour will showcase Cornell’s acoustic arrangements of songs throughout his career spanning close to 30 years, encompassing his work with Soundgarden in addition to his other musical projects including Audioslave, his solo releases and his work with Temple of the Dog.

During the band's Warped Tour set in San Antonio, Texas, Biersack called out a disrespectful audience member and spewed a highly effective, profanity-laced tirade in his direction for over 90 seconds.

Papa Roach have been forced to reschedule a number of South American performances due to concerns over singer Jacoby Shaddix's health. The vocalist successfully underwent vocal cord surgery last year and in a new statement regarding Papa Roach's South American cancellations, Shaddix "prays to God" that he won't be victim to a second surgery.

With their latest disc ‘Blood’ out almost a year now, In This Moment aren’t showing any signs of slowing down any time soon. The band will be joining the likes of Shinedown and Papa Roach for the 2013 Carnival of Madness tour run and now In This Moment have revealed they will be headlining the Hellpop tour this fall.
