Cool Temperatures And Severe Storms On Tap For Oklahoma
I don't know about you, but this Okie's allergies are really putting a damper on things. This up and down weather of cool fronts and warm fronts, paired with spring blooming, has me constantly sniffing and rubbing my dry, itchy eyes. And it looks like Oklahoma's weather forecast won't be offering any relief anytime soon.
Of course, I had to check the Oklahoma Allergy & Asthma Clinic Facebook to see what has my nose running like a faucet today. And, as I suspected, we've got some high cedar pollen. If you're like me and suffer from seasonal allergies, you should definitely give the Oklahoma Allergy & Asthma Clinic a follow!
Cool weather and severe storms will dominate the forecast this week in Oklahoma.
According to the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma will have cool weather throughout the week. When I woke up this morning, I was a bit surprised by the 30 degree temperature as I let the dogs out. And it looks like those chilly mornings will continue this week before it gets warmer Thursday and Friday. But it looks like cool mornings will return this weekend.
Thursday and Friday is when we're expected to see some severe weather. But according to the National Weather Service in Norman, it's hard to predict details this far out, so we should remain weather aware this week!
Looks like the current prediction for Thursday's severe thunderstorms possibility is at a slight risk for most of Oklahoma.
And as for Friday's severe weather potential, there's a slight risk for severe thunderstorms for our Okies in Southeast Oklahoma.
Stay weather aware, Oklahoma!
As always, it's a good idea to follow the National Weather Service in Norman on Facebook and Twitter to stay weather aware during Oklahoma's crazy spring.
