Could There Soon Be A 51st State ?

I think by now we all know that Californians walk to the beat of a different drummer and do things their own way and sometimes do and say the weirdiest things.

Jeff Stone, a Republican who serves on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, wants to host a summit for southern California's political leaders to decide how to secede. Stone wants Southern California to become the 51st state in the United States. But the Governor of California had the line of the year when he said  "It's a supremely ridiculous waste of everybody's time," said California Gov. Jerry Brown . "If you want to live in a Republican state with very conservative right-wing laws, then there's a place called Arizona." I can't even believe that someone would even suggest a 51st state, it would be like the rest of Oklahoma getting rid of the panhandle of Oklahoma !  WAIT that's not a bad idea, quick someone get me the Governor on the phone ! LOL
