Does Everyone Love an Upset in the NCAA Tournament? — Sports Survey of the Day
Day one of the NCAA Tournament is in the books, and we've already seen a couple of upset victories. Do people prefer it that way?
Many experts had high hopes for 3-seed New Mexico to go far in this year's tournament, but Harvard ruined all of that with a huge 68-62 win on Thursday night. That victory busted millions of brackets around the country.
Twelve-seed Oregon also upset fifth-seeded Oklahoma State to move onto the next round, and Pittsburgh was upset by Wichita State, though that was just an 8-versus-9-seed matchup. Day two starts off Friday at 12:15 p.m., and who knows what Cinderella team will emerge?
