Unfortunately for Green Day fans, the band's recent scheduled performance in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park was canceled for safety reasons after an extreme downpour. No one was happy about it, especially Billie Joe Armstrong and the rest of the band. Today he uploaded a quick video to Instagram, speaking about what happened.

The frontman uploaded a video to Instagram expressing his sorrow that the Scotland show was canceled, but the best part about the video was Armstrong noticing the dedicated fans outside his hotel room singing "Still Breathing" to him. Additionally, video was caught from the street level of fans singing up to his room the lyrics of "American Idiot."

"This is a bummer, we really wanted to play," Armstrong says. "I guess it was just unsafe for everybody in the crowd, and the crew and the band. Right now, I can actually hear people gathering out front of our hotel singing 'Still Breathing' which was beautiful. What a bummer."

The band is touring on behalf of their album Revolution Radio which was released last fall. The disc features a number of catchy songs, including an explosive title track, which saw a music video release last month. The band has stayed active, showing up on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert to deliver an "affordable" version of "Good Riddance," to which Colbert delivered some hilarious lyric.

Green Day will continue the rest of the year with more touring, coming back to the U.S. in August for another run of dates. Earlier this year we caught them bringing fire to Brooklyn's Barclays Center, where they delivered an incredible performance that spanned their entire career.
