Can You Spot The Snake Hidden Amongst Oklahoma Rocks And Leaves?
Recently, the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area in Tulsa, Oklahoma, posted a puzzling photo asking its followers to find the snake hidden between rocks and under dead leaves. It's pretty shocking because at first glance, you can't tell that a copperhead snake is lurking!
As the weather gets warmer, Oklahomans are out and about exploring the state's many wilderness areas. And while Okies are wandering the vast landscapes, we have to keep our eyes open for critters that could harm us. Often times, these critters, especially snakes, are masters of disguise.
So when I saw this photo posted to the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area Facebook page asking people if they could see the hidden snake, I spent a good amount of time zooming in to every little crevice. Then it got me thinking, when you're out exploring, you don't have time to zoom in to all the areas a snake could be hiding. And often times, once you spot the snake, it could be too late.
Take a look at the photo in the post below. Can you find the snake??
If you were unsuccessful, the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area gave us clues.
If you were like me and didn't seen the snake after several minutes of zooming in and out, then you noticed in the comments that the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area posted a zoomed in photo of the snake with clues on how to spot it. I was so close!
