Cameron University Homecoming Slated for Feb. 2-7, Alumni Events Scheduled for Fall

The Cameron University Office of Events and Activities has announced that spring Homecoming activities will continue this February for students. However, the Cameron University Alumni Association will move its Homecoming celebrations to the fall semester.

Earlier this week, the Cameron University Alumni Association announced on its official Facebook page that Homecoming was being moved to the fall semester. However, the post with the announcement has been deleted.

But a press release from the Cameron University Office of Public Affairs has confirmed that this spring's Homecoming celebrations will not include events hosted by the university's alumni association.

Cameron students will celebrate Homecoming Feb. 2-7.

The Cameron University Office of Events and Activities and the student-led organization, Programming Activities Council (PAC), will host Homecoming events for current students Feb. 2-7.

This year's theme is "The Road That Brought Us Here," which celebrates the varying connections of Cameron University students. In the press release, Director of Events and Activities Alannah Meyers-Young stated that "homecoming is a meaningful opportunity for us to reflect on the experiences, traditions, and connections that define the Aggie community."

"This year's theme, 'The Road That Brought Us Here,' honors the shared journey of our students, faculty and staff – and the sense of belonging that makes Cameron University special," Meyers-Young said.

The Cameron University Alumni Association will not host homecoming events this spring.

In past years, the Cameron University Alumni Association hosted alumni homecoming events in tandem with the university's student homecoming events. However, this year, the Cameron University Alumni Association will not host any homecoming events this spring.

Instead, the Cameron University Alumni Association is planning to host its own homecoming events during the fall semester of 2026. More information and dates are to be announced closer to time.
