Recently, some of the state's tulip farms have started posting about bulb planting and getting ready for the spring season. Most of the state's tulip farms are expecting to be open in early to mid March.

Sweet Pickins Pumpkin Patch - Altus

Sweet Pickins Pumpkin Patch in Altus started using its pumpkin patch as a flower garden last spring. Sweet Pickins will once again operate as a you-pick tulip field this spring! This year, Sweet Pickins has doubled its field and is expected to have over 100,000 tulips this spring.

On February 13, Sweet Pickins posted on its official Facebook page that the field was starting to see its first blooms, and opening could be early March, depending on weather.

Buffalo Creek Berry Farm - Mustang

For the first time, Buffalo Creek Berry Farm is offering a U-pick tulip field! The berry farm in Mustang planted 18,000 tulips for visitors to pick this spring. The farm expects the tulips to be ready for picking by early to mid March.

Oklahoma Tulips - Harrah

One of the well-known tulip farms in Oklahoma is Oklahoma Tulips located in Harrah. Oklahoma Tulips hasn't posted anything about its grand opening this year, but the farm did plant its tulips this past December.

We're betting Oklahoma Tulips will open sometime in March like the state's other tulip farms.
