
Snow Chances Increasing for Oklahoma This Weekend
A cold front will move through Oklahoma late Friday and into Saturday, which will bring in cold temperatures and a chance for snow in western and southwest Oklahoma. As the weekend approaches, local meteorologists are noticing that the potential for accumulating snow is increasing.
Chief Meteorologist Mike Morgan posted on his official Facebook page that heavy wet snow is a stronger possibility for western, southwest and potentially central Oklahoma.
And it's possible that Oklahoma could see record-breaking snowfall on Saturday, March 8.
Snow chances continue to increase for parts of Oklahoma this weekend.
Even meteorologists from across the country are seeing snow for Oklahoma. Meteorologist Chris Nunley with Fox 23 News Utah posted on his official Facebook page that snow chances for parts of Oklahoma are increasing for Saturday, March 8.
He indicated that a band of wet snow is headed for western and southwest Oklahoma and could potentially impact Oklahoma City.

According to the National Weather Service in Norman, the cold front is expected to come through late Friday and will plummet temperatures Saturday. The cold front will also bring in Oklahoma's next chance for rain and snow. On Saturday, western Oklahoma could see rain cha rain/snow mix early Saturday across parts of western Oklahoma and then transition into rain during the day.
