It's no secret that Oklahomans love the cherished Leg Lamp display in Chickasha.

But what has seemed to remain a secret is the newest movie made about the fight to keep our Leg Lamp up. A teaser recently released has sparked anticipation.

The trailer for the new documentary-style film "Fragile" is expected to be released in October. The entire film is expected to be released shortly after, in November 2025.

Despite threatening lawsuits, the Leg Lamp has remained standing.

Anyone who has seen the classic movie "A Christmas Story" will probably recognize the giant replica of the iconic leg lamp from the movie. It's been a staple in the state since 2022 and has brought national attention over the years.

Earlier this year, Warner Bros. called for the "removal and destruction" of the Leg Lamp, saying that those who crafted the display were infringing on the copyrights to the leg lamp idea.

Since Warner Bros. called for the lamp's removal, they have not filed lawsuits, but controversy surrounding the display continues.

"How a giant tourist attraction nearly tore a small town apart."

The new movie from Intellego Media features moments from within the community, courtrooms and some of Chickasha's largest events that surround the famous Leg Lamp.

Despite the fact that the clip only shows some of the footage from the film without any audio, it's clear that people had a lot to say about the attraction. One of their followers commented on the video, saying: "The spilling of ALLLLL THE TEA!"

By the end of the year, the documentary promises to reveal all. What do you think it will uncover? Share your thoughts on our app.
