One false report that Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford was found unresponsive at his San Diego home has been debunked by Rob Halford himself. React365, a site whose homepage is a blank news generator encouraging users to "write an article and prank your friends for fun," stated that Halford, after being found unresponsive at 2:44 PM, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. It also noted that opiates were found close to where he was laying.

No aspect of this story is true (Halford doesn't even live in California) and Halford provided the following statement exclusively to Loudwire:

No I'm not. Horrible for our fans. Please let everyone know I'm in Phoenix packing my bags for Knotfest and can't wait to see our metal maniacs!"

Priest have been touring relentlessly behind their 18th studio album, Firepower, which was released earlier this year. With Glenn Tipton unable to fulfill his live role on a permanent basis due to Parkinson's Disease, the band tapped producer Andy Sneap to complete their guitar tandem alongside Richie Faulkner.

In June, Tipton launched the Glenn Tipton's Parkinson's Foundation to aid research. It's been a team effort as Priest debuted "No Surrender" t-shirts where all of the proceeds will go back into the foundation.

As for Knotfest, that will take place in Columbia on Oct. 26 and will feature Judas Priest as the headliner with Helloween, Kreator, Arch Enemy and more rounding out the bill. Get more details here.
