‘Jurassic Park 4′ Will Return to the Original Jurassic Park?!
Everything we knew about the upcoming 'Jurassic Park 4' could fit in a thimble, but now director Colin Trevorrow has dropped a quietly huge piece of information about the film: it'll take place on Isla Nublar, the setting of the original 1993 'Jurassic Park.'
Fans will surely remember that 1997's 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' and 2001's 'Jurassic Park 3' both took place on Isla Sorna (also known as Site B), where dinosaurs were bred before being shipped off the main facility/theme park on Isla Nubar. That's why the original film had production design straight out of a world class tourist attraction and the sequels had a bunch of rotting laboratories. Of course, the big question now is why anyone in their right mind would want to journey to a rusty old amusement park populated by man-eating lizards...
'Jurassic Park 4' is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 13, 2014.
