Reports of a Machine Head Burn My Eyes-era reunion certainly weren't a thousand lies. True to the game, frontman Robb Flynn has positioned three-quarters of the lineup behind the band's first album for a 25th anniversary tour.

While latter-day Machine Head bassist Jared MacEachern is still onboard, Flynn parted ways with longtime guitarist Phil Demmel and drummer Dave McClain last year. (McClain's now back behind the kit for Sacred Reich, his original act.) And though the veteran MH bandleader has hinted at some "new heaviness" for the metal stalwarts' next album, he was also admittedly still on the search for some new band members.

But it was Machine Head's 1994 debut Burn My Eyes that introduced most metalheads to Flynn alongside lead guitarist Logan Mader, drummer Chris Kontos and bassist Adam Duce. 2019 being a quarter-century since that release, all but the latter — original member Mader and early percussionist Kontos — will return for the tour.

However, it looks like two still-unnamed musicians will also join Flynn and MacEachern for a set of more contemporary Machine Head songs. According to info on the band's website, the upcoming shows "will be a three-hour musical extravaganza, comprised of two parts," each portion representing a different facet of the band's history.

Part I will feature "a battery of Machine Head's modern classics" fleshed out onstage by the "soon-to-be-announced ragers on guitar and drums." Following it will be Burn My Eyes "played in its entirety for the first time ever."

Two Italian shows were first leaked Monday — in Milan, Italy, Oct. 25, and in Padova the following day — but the full itinerary for the special commemorative tour has now been shared by the band on social media.

Burn My Eyes anniversary tickets go on general sale this Friday, March 29, at 10 AM local time. Pre-sale tickets go live at 10 AM local, March 28. North American Burn My Eyes dates are said to be coming soon.
