Marilyn Manson combined with Mariah Carey? Why not! It certainly seems that fan-made mash-ups are all the rage these days, and now the Christmas spirit is being set aflame with an altogether unlikely but supremely catchy combination in "All I Want for Christmas Is the Beautiful People."

That's right, Manson's 1996 rock hit "The Beautiful People" collides with Carey's 1994 holiday favorite "All I Want for Christmas Is You" in the rhythmically festive mash-up. And the result of pairing the two tunes must be heard to be believed. Go ahead and listen to it down toward the bottom of this post.

The mash-up arises from the talents of YouTube user Bill McClintock. He's the mastermind behind other pop-meets-rock amalgamations that have taken the Internet by storm. Remember when the Spice Girls got mixed up with Slipnot, or when Bill Withers arrived soulfully combined with Pantera?

But don't think McClintock doesn't see the humor in his creations. In the video description for the Marilyn Manson and Mariah Carey mash-up, the YouTuber — who it seems might be a grade school teacher by day — writes, "I'm gonna have my 6th graders perform it just like this for the concert."

If this doesn't get you in the holiday mood, don't worry. There's plenty of other rock-based Yuletide tracks to go around. Why not try out this Christmas parody of Rob Zombie's "Dragula"? Or you can sit beside the fire with this collection of 10 Rock and Metal Christmas Songs That Don't Suck.
