Matt Heafy of Trivium Stops Concert to Help Fan [VIDEO]

There's very little separation from on stage and front of stage when it comes to metal music and concerts. Meaning the relationship between band and fan is very tight, there's a bond that exists that is missing when speaking of other forms of music and performances. Sure other bands and musicians have fans, but nothing like a metal bands! The fans are loyal to the band and the band is loyal to the fans.

Recently at a show Trivium was ripping through a set when front man Matt Heafy noticed a fan in the pit was having problems. He stopped the show and had the crowd and security assist the person. His remarks from stage "Hey we have a friend that needs some help" shows how closely the band watches the fans and looks out for them. After the person was helped the band returns to the stage and starts the show again. The video shows the incident starting at the (3:09) mark.
