For the cord-cutters, live sports are some of the hardest things to follow if you're not throwing money at a bunch of subscriptions. With the Oklahoma City Thunder starting their NBA Finals this evening against the Pacers, where can you find the game?

If you have an antenna, you might be able to watch the game that way... but that all depends on signal strength. In Lawton, our local ABC affiliate has a pretty terrible signal that tends to cut in and out constantly. At least it does for me and the few neighbors who also refuse to pay for TV.

Naturally, we want to turn to the internet where streaming options generally come with a cost, but there are ways around it.

Officially, you can stream the NBA Finals with a paid subscription to FuboTV, Hulu Live, Sling TV, or YouTube TV. Additionally, you could watch it on the ABC or ESPN apps, but you'd need a qualified television subscription to cross-reference for access.

If you don't mind bending the rules a little bit - full disclosure, it might be illegal, but if they broadcast it over the air for anyone with an antenna to pick up, I don't see how it is - here is where to look for a free cracked stream.

At best, it's a gray area of entertainment.

Even though the OG free-stream provider "Cracked Streams" caught a case and was shut down earlier this year, it's like anything else online. Cut off the head, two more take its place.

I would start with a quick search for what you're looking for.

NBA Finals Free Streams

If you're not finding anything, turn to Reddit. Liberal Americans' home on the web is shockingly useful for things just like this. In fact, you can just add "reddit" to the end of your search. I did the same thing for the "big game" back in February.

Of course, it's not without risks. As with any sort of blind link on the internet, there's always a chance it could harm your device with malware, a virus, or even be taken hostage by some dude in Bangladesh.

It's a sort of "You're on your own/Use your best judgment" sort of thing. Best practices is to wait until the game is underway, then you'll be able to see instant-reviews of the links, especially on Reddit. If it's b-a-n-a-n-a-anas, someone will be angry enough to comment about it.

Best of luck and Thunder Up!
