Oklahoma is known for many things.

Our landscapes and scenery are better than most, we have a state history that is well beyond our age as a state. People here are overwhelmingly polite and neighborly, small town charm lives in every tiny Sooner State town, some truly incredible experiences, and from high school to college - sports.
That all being said, Oklahoma is also known for some wild and crazy laws and statutes that are still on the books today.
Did you know it's illegal to make ugly faces at dogs in Oklahoma? Yeah, it's an arrestable offense. You could be fined and receive jail time. Of all things, whaling is illegal in Oklahoma, so don't go poking holes in the Whale of Catoosa.
Those are just a handful of the weird laws still on the books in Oklahoma. Hit play to see more.
It makes you wonder how many more of these crazy laws are out there. This is just the top ten, I'm sure there's more, lots more. I don't know if it's true or not but supposedly it's illegal to wash your underwear in a birdbath in Lawton. Given the local statutes and such, I wouldn't doubt it to be true.
