Refused Bring ‘War Music’ to the Masses With 2020 Tour

It's on! Refused are coming back to North America in early 2020 for a leg of shows promoting their latest effort, War Music.

"‪We're waging #WarMusic on the U.S. in February 2020!!! And we are deeply honoured that Metz and Youth Code will be joining us," state the band. "The tour art is inspired by a reckless, unreliable, immoral and polarizing American cultural icon: GG Allin." Ticket pre-sales for the trek start tomorrow (Sept. 24) at 10AM local time, with the general public on-sale to follow this Friday (Sept. 27) at 10AM local time.

The War Music album features the single "Blood Red," and orders for the disc can be taken ahead of the record's Oct. 18 street date. Following on the heels of "Blood Red," the band recently issued a new video for "#REV001." "#REV001 is a protest song, a punk rock song. We like to think of it as incredibly violent pop music. Whatever you call it, we're hoping it'll get your blood boiling and that it'll make you wanna dance (like it does our fearless captain @dennislyxzen in the video), ‘cause what else can one do in these desperate times? Well, we at the bottom could arm ourselves and go for those at the top, while smashing a few banks on the way? We'll get there. Like we said, these things happen all the time," state the group.
