Ron Artest Is in Talks To Do ‘Dancing with the Stars’
With labor issues casting doubt over over the 2011-2012 NBA season, Ron Artest might be taking his talents to ‘Dancing With The Stars.
TMZ reports that the Los Angeles Laker, who recently changed his name to Metta World Peace, is currently in talks to appear on the upcoming season of the reality TV show.
According to a source, Artest is excited about the prospects of showing television audiences his dance moves.
The NBA season usually starts in October, and ‘Dancing With The Stars’ will run until November, so if the lockout is resolved, Artest would have a potential conflict.
However, this season ‘DWTS’ producers have removed the minimum rehearsal requirements for celebrities, making it conceivable that Artest could pull double duty.
