Shocking Hockey Fight Caught on Tape- Pittsburgh vs Philly [VIDEO]

Another great game and another great fight. This Sunday (04-01-12) the Pittsburgh Penguins took on the Philadelphia Flyers at home. The Pens lost (6-4) it was a good old fashion hockey game with lots of aggressive play, checking, banging and fights. Even the coaches got into the action!

Nearing the end of the game with 1:03 left in the third period the gloves came off and a five on five melee broke out on center ice. The fight started after Joe Vitale of the Penguins rocked Danny Briere of the Flyers with bone crushing leveling check. The hit was legal, good hockey and the puck was in play, but due to it's brutality a 10 man brawl erupted that eventually included the coaches exchanging words as well.

And it doesn't help that these two teams will meet again this weekend! Should we expect more fights? Probably! I say it's going to be Armageddon on ice!
