Every year the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is one of the best selling, and most highly anticipated publications. This year, it will be even more highly anticipated in the town of Snyder, OK.
Earlier today, it was announced that former Snyder resident and graduate of Snyder High School, Allie Ayers will be one of the featured models in the sports magazine's 2018 Swimsuit Edition, consistently one of the publications most popular monthly publications. Ayers was selected over more than 5,000 other hopefuls, and was named one of six finalists for the honor recently. This was the magazine's first ever open casting call and model search.
Ayers, 23, is a 2012 graduate of Snyder High School and also graduated from Southwest Oklahoma University, where she earned a degree in health sciences.. She competed in several rounds of eliminations to see Sports Illustrated work it way down from 5,000 contestants to the final six finalists who will appear in the publication, scheduled to hit news stands in February.
Ayers and the other five finalists will again compete for first place honors, and a chance to return for the magazine's 2019 swimsuit edition. Ayers, who has been modeling since high school, currently lives in the Dallas area, and is working on developing her own signature swim wear line.
