The new Soulfly album "Enslaved" on Roadrunner Records is in stores and online now. This marks the band's 8th studio album in their 15 year history and offers some of the most brutal, aggressive and heavy hitting tracks to date.

For me there's no greater voice than that of Max Cavalera. He remains at the very top of my list of all time favorite vocalists. From Sepultura, Nailbomb, Soulfly to Cavalera Conspiracy I'm a fan of them all. You can always depend on Max to deliver the goods and the new Soulfly does it in spades!

The current Soulfly line-up features: Max Cavalera on vocals and guitar Marc Rizzo on lead guitar Tony Campos of Asesinoon and formerly of Static X, Ministry and Prong on bass with former Borknagar drummer David Kinkade on drums.

Along with the current line-up "Enslaved" features several guest appearances including: Dez Fafara of Devildriver and Coal Chamber on "Redemption of Man by God"  Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation on "World Scum" the first single and video from "Enslaved". The new disk also features Max's sons Richie and Zyon along with his brother Igor Cavalera on "Revengeance".

1. Resistance

2. World Scum (feat. Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation)

3. Intervention

4. Gladiator

5. Legions

6. American Steel

7. Redemption of Man by God (feat. Dez Fafara of Coal Chamber and DevilDriver)

8. Treachery

9. Plata O Plomo

10. Chains

11. Revengeance (feat. Richie Cavalera of Incite, Zyon and Igor Cavalera Jr. of Lody Kong)

The special edition of "Enslaved" on itunes features 3 bonus tracks: "Slave", "Bastard" and "Soulfly VIII."

That's my only bitch or complaint with the new album, there's currently no physical copy or C.D. available that includes the bonus tracks. Hopefully Roadrunner will release an expended version in the near future, maybe with some behind the scenes footage and videos as well. In the meantime we have 11 new tracks of Soulfly that are truly a sonic assault on the senses and deliver more than expected! As is the norm with Soulfly and any project that Max is a part of.

Check out "World Scum" the first video and single off "Enslaved" that features additional vocals from Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation!
