As rapidly as things can change outdoors you need to be prepared when Mother Nature starts PMSing. That's means running to the store ASAP and getting the BREAD & MILK! It's not an option, it's a must-do, must-have, or else kinda thing.

Mother Nature sure has been moody lately. We've seen 70-80 degree days recently and now we're sitting here freezing at 25 degrees, it's been a crazy couple of weeks weather-wise that's for sure. We've found some tips and tricks to help keep you warm and safe this winter.

Mother Nature sure has been moody this year. In 2021 Oklahoma has set several weather-related records. Some good, some not so good. We've seen everything from extreme thunderstorms, high winds, tornadoes to rapid low and high-temperature changes. And 2021 isn't over yet, we still have a few more days to go.

Well, it's not looking good for Oklahoma this Winter according to the Farmer's Almanac. Unless of course, you're into really cold temperatures that are below average and enjoy sleet, ice, snow, and trekking through the frozen tundra.

Mother Nature was more than a little moody over the weekend and dumped tons of rain in Lawton, Fort Sill. This of course train wrecked everyone's plans and more than a few events and plans were cancelled and ruined. The Big & Rich concert at Hillary Farms, Lake Lawtonka was cancelled and the City of Lawton was barely able to hold their annual Freedom Festival. There were rain delays, but the fireworks show eventually happened. All in all it was a very wet and miserable weekend outdoors.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the most miserable day of the year is right around the corner.

City services will be suspended at noon today.

I was taking a look around Facebook when I noticed my cousin, Richard Harvey, Jr. (No relation to Hurricane Harvey) when I saw how bad the water was, even north in The Woodlands. I had a chance to speak with Debra Harvey, (no relation to the Hurricane). She lives in The Woodlands in far north Harris County. She tells us about how things are for them at this time.
