The Hobbit Would Have Been Better With Lightsabers

I've said it before, and it still stands true. Every movie is better with lightsabers. From the moment you hear that distinct hum to the tremolo of it wafting through the air, you know some heavy stuffs about to go down. Even if it's just a light snack to get you through the next chapter...

Lightsabers are the end-all be-all of weaponry, and the sooner people get on board with the US Space Force, the quicker we can all have our lightsabers (provided our constitutional rights haven't been carved away more than they have already).

While they've teased creating "real" lightsabers on the web, they just aren't. Light just doesn't work like that. They'll figure it out sooner or later though. If they can figure out how to attach laser beams to sea bass, they can make a laser sword.
