Tony Stewart won at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway over the weekend. He said, “I'm not sure we had the dominant car today, but we had an awful fast Chevy,” he continued, “I m just glad to finally get one at Vegas."

Stewart can add this win to his current 21 of 23 Cup trucks, with only Darlington Raceway and Kentucky Speedway left to conquer.

It was an intense race to watch. On the final restart of the afternoon with 5 laps to go Stewart got a jump on the rest of the field and powered his No. 14 Chevrolet to the front and never looked back.

Jimmy Johnson was only .465 of a second behind Stewart, but at the end Johnson’s No. 48 Chevrolet felt short to catch up. Johnson later said “his car was helpless to catch to up to Stewart.”
