On Nov. 30, a fan died at Bring Me the Horizon's show in London at Alexandra Place. The band and venue each released statements on the tragic event and now the venue has further clarified the situation, denying that inadequate security was to blame.

"Following the statement made last night, we would like to clarify that this was a tragic medical incident and unrelated to the extensive security measures in place at all of or our events," an Alexandra Place representative told the U.K.'s The Independent.

"However, we feel we must address the inaccurate information quoted on social media. There were over 150 security personnel on site for the concert," the rep continued, adding, "Alexandra Palace has an experienced events team with security and full medical team stationed throughout the site. We work closely with our local authority, licensing and the emergency services to ensure that regulations and requirements relating to the planning of an event are always executed to a high standard."

Upon learning the news, Bring Me the Horizon tweeted a message expressing how "horrified" they felt that one of their fans lost their life at the show. They promised more comments will come "in due course."
