Weezer + Pixies Announce Summer 2018 Tour, Plus News on Devin Townsend, Last in Line + More
- Summer may seem like a long time away, but fans of both bands can warm up to the fact that Pixies and Weezer will co-headline dates in 2018. The run starts June 23 in Tampa, Fla., and continues through Aug. 12 in Phoenix. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 10 at 10AM local time via the Pixies and Weezer websites.
- Devin Townsend has revealed in a series of tweets that he has themes for four albums -- Empath, the Moth, a complicated one (untitled) and a beautiful one (untitled), adding that there are some Casualties songs and heavy songs too. - Last in Line vocalist Andrew Freeman confirmed to Albany's Q103 that the group has started work on a new album of original music. "We have about six songs completed and probably about 14 ideas altogether that we've been working on and just kind of weeding through 'em," said Freeman. "It's supposed to come out next year. We're supposed to have it finished by January, so some time next year it'll be out. And we're looking forward to getting it out."
