In case you missed it, the first trailer for 'Elysium,' director Neill Blomkamp's highly anticipated follow-up to 'District 9,' debuted last night with some incredible footage of Matt Damon in his cyborg-y armor and a breathtaking look at sci-fi paradise. (Click here to watch it in HD.) To accompany the new footage, Sony released a batch of new images featuring the cast's main players and teasing some of the action.
In a future where the rich live in the luxurious space station Elysium and everyone else suffers on the now dismal Earth, a blue-collar man finds himself on a mission that could restore equality to the classes.
While we patiently await the trailer for Neill Blomkamp's 'Elysium' (tomorrow, right here, at 7pm EST) we've got the first official 'Elysium' poster to tide us over. Someone should tell Matt Damon he's got something on his back.
Just a few days after the start of a mysterious viral campaign, a few new images from 'Elysium' have arrived. Things have been pretty quiet since the first footage from 'District 9' director Neill Bomkamp's new sci-fi action film premiered at 2012 Comic-Con...do these photos and the ongoing viral campaign suggest that a trailer is in the near future?
A joke ten years in the making, last night Jimmy Kimmel fans were in for a treat as the oft-put upon Matt Damon finally got his revenge on the late-night host. No longer would Kimmel close his every 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' broadcast with "apologies to Matt Damon," but rather the prolific movie star duct-taped Kimmel to a chair and took over the program from the beginning. Along with a host of guest stars including Robin Williams and Ben Affleck, check out Damon's take-over of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' inside!
Most people would be absolutely elated to speak with Academy Award winner Matt Damon, but apparently late night host Jimmy Kimmel is not most people.
Remember when the first trailer for James Franco's 'Interior. Leather Bar.' hit? The film itself, which recreates the 40 minutes of footage excised from William Friedkin's gay S&M-focused thriller 'Cruising,' is in itself too provocative for the mainstreamers considering it's homosexual content. Even Franco stated sarcastically in the trailer, "Don't show gay sex... that's the f---ing devil!" Well, apparently another film has fallen into this category of being "too gay" for a big-screen wide release, and that's the Matt Damon- and Michael Douglas-starring Liberace biopic 'Behind the Candelabra.'
When 'The Bourne Legacy' was released, producer Frank Marshall mentioned that he hoped a fifth film would bring the characters played by Matt Damon and Jeremy Renner together. This may be wishful thinking as Damon has recently said that he doesn't think he'll go back for more.
When the trailer of ‘Bourne Legacy’ begins, we get a shaky glimpse of Jeremy Renner. The actor, who’s taking over the ‘Bourne’ series for Matt Damon is identified as Kenneth Kitson, and he is looking quite the worse for wear.
It’s back in the saddle again for Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who have not appeared in a film together since the late ’90s. The two are starting work on a movie about Boston’s notorious gangster James “Whitey” Bulger.
