Paul McCartney and Nirvana, Eddie Vedder and Roger Waters, Michael Stipe and Coldplay's Chris Martin: Last night's 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief was teeming with team-ups, and we've got the videos below. As these clips attest, the performers gave it their all, treating fans at New York's Madison Square Garden and an estimated 2 billion people around the world to the kind of concert that, sadly, only happens after horrible disasters. Whether you think McCartney, Dave Grohl, Krist Novaselic and Pat Smear turned in a true Nirvana "reunion" -- check out their premiere of the new tune 'Cut Me Some Slack -- you can't knock the foursome's energy. Likewise, 'Losing My Religion' is an obvious R.E.M. song, but Martin seemed genuinely enthused to sing the tune with one of his idols.
