Moving around the Great Plains, from Denver to Corpus Christie, the only thing I ever missed having around was a fireplace. Fireplaces cost a premium in rental units, especially in South Texas, and I was always to cheap to pay for it... Honestly, it's a steel/brick box that you burn stuff in, not worth the few hundred extra on rent... That being said, long ago I turned to the internet to satisfy my wood burning urges on those cold nights.
