Anthrax Live on the Freedom Stage at Rocklahoma 2021

It was worth the wait for sure! Anthrax took to the Main/Freedom Stage once all the weather delays were cancelled here at Rocklahoma 2021. Speaking for myself and I'm sure for a lot of ROK21 fans we were worried we'd miss them due to the weather. Luckily for us Mother Nature quit being a moody bitch so we could get back to the festival. After the all clear was given Anthrax wasted no time and went to work.

It was great to see them again, they never disappoint and had an amazing set here at ROK21. They whipped the crowd into a frenzy and we're all better people for it. If you weren't able to make it to Rocklahoma this year and missed them they have some more dates. They'll be out on the road and are on several more festival line-ups throughout the remainder of the Summer into the Fall. Then they'll be heading overseas to tour.

Hopefully Anthrax won't make us wait too long for a new album. Scott Ian said in an interview recently that the band will be returning to the studio soon. We might hear something new by early to mid 2022, at least hoping so anyway. It woiuld be great to get some new Anthrax next year and of course see them back on the road.
