If there's one firearm manufacturer that's more argued among shooters, it's the Kimber 1911 platform. With a new pocket revolver in the mix, get ready for an entirely new argument.

Now I would love to sit here and tell you all about how Kimber makes the best 1911 shaped paper-weights, but lets dive down into their new K6 revolver.

Offering up the best Kimber has to offer, the main selling point in this firearm is the sixth cylinder bore. Most revolvers this size, chambered in .357 Magnum can only manage a five round cylinder. It's a strength issue... but Kimber has apparently solved it.

Much like every other stainless pocket gun out there, it's on the heavy side at 23 ounces.

Like every other double-action-only revolver, it has a hideous 10 pound trigger pull... but Kimber fan-boys say it's smooth.

Last but not least, the catch... It's listed at almost a grand... which is a real killer, considering both the Ruger SP101, and the pinnacle of perfection S&W 640 can be found for around $600.

Yes, the Kimber fan-boys out there will most likely pick it up because it's stamped 'Kimber' on the barrel... but I'll give this one some time before I decide it's junk.
