Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch + Scorpions Lead 2016 Carolina Rebellion

Carolina Rebellion is back for 2016, but this year music fans will get to make a full weekend out of it as the festival expands to three days of music. The lineup was just announced with rock icons Scorpions headlining the Friday (May 6) bill, while Five Finger Death Punch get the prime Saturday (May 7) top spot and Disturbed close things out on Sunday (May 8).

The Friday lineup has Scorpions leading the way, while ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 3 Doors Down, Sixx: A.M., Collective Soul, Pop Evil, Between the Buried and Me, Parkway Drive, Black Stone Cherry, Hellyeah, Sick Puppies, Filter, Candlebox, Aranda, Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, New Years Day, Avatar, Lacey Sturm, Glorious Sons, From Ashes to New and I Prevail.

The Saturday bill finds Five Finger Death Punch finishing out a day that includes Shinedown, A Day to Remember, Lamb of God, Megadeth, Ghost, Anthrax, Bullet for My Valentine, Clutch, Sevendust, P.O.D., The Sword, Escape the Fate, Saint Asonia, Trivium, Wilson, Red Sun Rising, Texas Hippie Coalition, Audiotopsy, Monster Truck, Failure Anthem and Wild Throne.

As for Sunday, Disturbed close out the festival after Rob Zombie, Deftones, Alice Cooper, Bring Me the Horizon, Cypress Hill, Pennywise, Yelawolf, Asking Alexandria, The Struts, Babymetal, August Burns Red, Turbowolf, Enter Shikari, Thousand Foot Krutch, Hands Like Houses, Code Orange and Raveneye play.

The Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion will take place at the Charlotte Motor City Speedway May 6-8, with fans also able to partake in the Pig-Out BBQ village and camping facilities during the music weekend.

Brent Smith of Shinedown comments, “I've said it before, and I'll say it again...Rock n’ Roll is a way of life, and Carolina Rebellion is living proof...We are honored to be on this year’s lineup. We hope the Rebels are ready, because we are!!!” Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top adds, "ZZ Top is coming at'cha with some raucous rock 'n roll to the Rebellion.
