The Cameron University Alumni Association has announced that the university's Homecoming will now take place during the fall semester rather than the spring. Cameron University hosts Homecoming annually for students and alumni.

Last year, Cameron University hosted Homecoming the week of Feb. 17-22, 2025, and included a week of special events for students, alumni and the community, respectively. Previously, Cameron University's annual Homecoming has occurred during the spring semester.

Cameron University's annual Homecoming will take place fall 2026.

On Wednesday, Jan. 28, the Cameron University Alumni Association announced on its official Facebook page that the university's Homecoming is being moved to the fall semester this year.

The Cameron University Alumni Association has not announced any further information on the moving of Homecoming to the fall semester. The association has also not announced dates or any special events associated with the moving of Homecoming to the fall semester.

What events should be offered during Cameron University's Homecoming this fall?

Cameron University's Homecoming is always a special week in Lawton. Many citizens are alumni and look forward to returning to campus during special Homecoming events hosted by the Cameron University Alumni Association.

Over the years, the association has hosted banquets and breakfast events for alumni. One of the most popular was the annual chuck wagon cookoff for alumni, students and the community, that featured a chuckwagon cookoff between the university's Aggie Club and local, professional chuckwagon groups.
