Lawton Trunk-or-treat Events Offer Halloween Fun Throughout October And Beyond

The countdown to Halloween is on, and as we eagerly await trick-or-treating, kids in Lawton can pass the time by attending various trunk-or-treat events. Most of Lawton's trunk-or-treat events will take place before Oct. 31 so kids can still celebrate Halloween the old fashioned way.

Tunk-or-treats weren't around when I was kid. They really blew up in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic. But kids seem to love any event where they get to wear their costume and get free candy, so it's no surprise that trunk-or-treats have stuck around. Although I am a Halloween purist and believe trick-or-treating in local neighborhoods is the ultimate Halloween experience, I don't see trunk-or-treats taking away from that one night of magic.

All that matters is the kids are having a memorable Halloween season, so why not take advantage of multiple free candy opportunities?
