Mac’s American Ice Opens For The Season In Lawton

Now that the weather is getting warmer, Lawton residents are craving a shaved ice from Mac's American Ice! Luckily, the shaved ice hut on 67th Street is now open for the season.

Mac's American Shave Ice officially opened for the season on Saturday, March 27. The shaved ice hut is located in the Home Zone parking lot on 67th Street in the west side of town.

Cars will soon be lined up to get a shaved ice from Mac's.

Since it's a hut, Mac's doesn't have an inside location for ordering, seating, etc. However, it does have a little patio and walk-up window for orders if the weather is nice enough to enjoy a shaved ice outside.

When going to Mac's, most Lawton residents line up for the drive thru window. Sometimes the drive thru line is wrapped around the parking lot! Luckily, Mac's always has people out taking orders, so your order is ready by the time you get to the window.

This year, Mac's unveiled a new menu for 2026. Mac's new menu focuses on local favorites and simplified pricing. So if you frequent Mac's on warm days in Lawton, you'll want to familiarize yourself with the new menu!

Mac's has all of the classic shaved ice flavors, like Silver Fox and Tiger's Blood. But if you follow Mac's on Facebook, you'll learn that each day it's open, Mac's will have a new special.

During the warmer months, you can get a fresh shaved ice from Mac's American Ice from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 2-8 p.m. on Saturday. Mac's American Ice typically closes for the season during the month of August.
