Most Texans understand that living in this amazing country comes at a cost, and many people serve this country to protect our freedoms. Those individuals are incredible beyond words and I love the fact that Texas Parks and Wildlife has teams up with Texas State Parks and the Texas Veterans Commission to offer something new to these heroes.

There is a new Military Park Pass that is being issued that you need to know about. This new Military Parklands Passport gives active-duty military members and veterans FREE entry to Texas State Parks. There is no catch, this is just a way for the state of Texas to thank these amazing people who have fought for our country.
