I don't know about you, but anytime you Google reviews for a product, you're almost guaranteed to find one or two computer generated review videos on YouTube. Of course, you're curious, so you click through, but at the first sound of that PC voice, it's annoying. Well, these videos are mostly made by overseas video creators. They don't speak English well enough, so they enlist voice services from the web to get it done. They also rip off your uploaded pics too, but that's for another time.

There's only one comment so far on YouTube page too. One person complaining about the list of restaurants... but it's all based off Google reviews, so if you think there are better places to eat, get on Google and let people know. All the same, I kind of get where they're coming from. How chain restaurants get in there, I couldn't tell you. I don't even know how Cracker Barrel made a list of "best" places to eat... You've had their version of food right?

Even more shameful, having lived here some thirteen years, I've only eaten at half the places on this list. I admit, I don't eat out often, but when I do it's typically at the same few places. I'm that creature of habit... I have a very particular wing place, burger joint, a steak place, pizza joint, Chinese buffet, burrito hut, and one chicken shack. Odds are, if I'm looking to blow money on food, it's at one of those very specific individual places. Makes me think I need to re-broaden my horizon.

Now I'll search food places online from time to time... Let's say someone talks about how good the ______ is at _______.... I'll Google it. If there are no or a few limited reviews, I'm probably going to pass. Not because I don't like new foods, I just don't like the idea of having a decent meal when I know where I can get a great one... So if you know of a good place, tell Google.
