Magnet Man may sound like a superhero villain, but it’s actually a real person.

Etibar Elchiyev, 42 -- dubbed ‘Magnet Man’ -- recently set a world record by putting 53 spoons on his body, shattering the record of 50 he himself had set in 2011.

The Georgia man says he has high levels of magnetism in his body and this video would certainly seem to back that claim.

Whatever the reason, we can only imagine it takes a long time to step away from the fridge when he goes to get a drink.
