Medicine Park Has A New Walking Ghost Tour
There is a new experience coming to Medicine Park that is sure to pique some interest - especially those who are into the supernatural. Trail of Fear has started offering walking ghost tours, revealing the spooky history of the historic mountain town.
I've been on a handful of walking tours in some of our largest cities. Ghosts, murder tours, and plenty of riverwalks, but the Medicine Park ghost tour, Spirit Of The Cobblestones, sort of combines them all.
Medicine Park Ghost Tour
We had our chance to experience a very early version of the tour last week, and while it will continue to evolve and grow over time, we had a lot of fun. I never knew Medicine Park had prohibition tunnels under the road, and we all learned something new about the Old Plantation - which was cool, because I fancy myself an Oklahoma History expert and didn't know everything.
Medicine Park Hauntings
Medicine Park is just a cool old town, and it has a ton of ghost stories and rumored hauntings in those old buildings.
As we wandered down the main stretch of road through Medicine Park, our guide talked about wandering outlaws who frequented some of the old establishments, restaurants, the music hall, and plenty of curious accidents that happened along Medicine Creek before the tour wrapped up.
All in all, a solid way to spend the hour after sunset.
If you'd like to take the Spirits of the Cobblestone ghost tour, here is where you'll find all of the details. Tours will be offered on select dates throughout October and November. Have fun, don't die.
