Millennial Hollywood Royalty Is Coming To Oklahoma
It's only by chance that a family member who lives nearly 500 miles away sent this to me, but it's awesome nonetheless. One of the most recognizable Hollywood figures to Gen-X, Millennials, and the older Zoomers is coming to Lawton, Oklahoma for an upcoming comic convention.

He has voiced the most beloved characters over the last couple of decades, and I think most identify most with what he's done rather than who he is.
He's the one and only Billy West.
The Voice of a Generation
Just off the top, here are some of his most recognizable voices.
- Ren & Stimpy
- Doug
- He's half the voices of Futurama including Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Zapp Branigan - Branigan's Law, Dr. Zoidberg, and a dozen more.
- Disenchanted
- Bugs Bunny in Space Jam
- Elmer Fudd, Popeye, and a slew of recurring characters on a ton of other animated shows over the last fifty years.
He's one of the featured guests at the Lawton Comic Convention this coming weekend at the fairgrounds coliseum.
How much does it cost?
Being in Lawton has its perks. This comic convention is on the cheap. $15 for adult tickets to get it, VIP tickets for just $40.
From what little I was able to find online about the event, it appears Billy West is scheduled to be there both days of the convention.
Because that's how comic cons go, there are charges if you want to get a signed item and take a photo with the legend. $50 for an autograph, $30 for a photo, and $70 if you get both.
Shut up and take my money!
It's all happening March 29-30 at Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Oklahoma.
More guests are being featured at the convention too, I'm just not familiar enough with any of them to tell you anything about them.
