This 2003 'Nashville Star' finalist may not have won the big title, but she has come into her own in a big way. She's a major before, and before her 30th birthday.

Born in Longview, TX, this feisty southern bombshell was raised with an appreciation for music and guns. At an early age, she became both a musician and a deer hunter under the guidance of her father.

At 16-years-old, she began regular appearances on the Johnnie High Country Music Revue in Arlington, TX; the very same place where LeAnn Rimes go her start. The show got her enough notice to get her into a studio session in Nashville, but she was frustrated with the pop sound that the studio was after. She returned home and asked her father to teach her to play guitar, so she could write her own songs. The rest, as they say, is history.

Her debut album on Epic Records, 'Kerosene,' produced four singles on the Top 40 Billboard Country charts. Each album since has landed her on the Billboard charts, and each album climbs higher than the last. Lambert has also been honored by the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, and the Country Music Association Awards.

In 2011 she married country star Blake Shelton, and released her fourth album, 'For the Record,' which includes the hit single 'Fastest Girl in Town.' Also, the video is smokin'. Way to go, Blake:
