New Movie Releases — ‘Beauty and the Beast 3D,’ ‘Contraband,’ and ‘Joyful Noise’

Animation, action, or comedy? Take your pick — there’s one of each opening in wide-release this weekend.

First up: Walt Disney Pictures’ timeless animated musical classic, ‘Beauty and Beast,’ returns to theaters in a stunning new 3D re-release.

Meanwhile, in ‘Contraband,’ Mark Wahlberg is former smuggler who’s forced back into a life of crime to settle his delinquent brother-in-law’s debt.

And ‘Joyful Noise‘ features Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton as two very different women who must join forces to save their small-town gospel choir.
