Nonpoint are back, starting their climb up the charts with their current single "Generation Idiot," and now there's a visual representation to go along with the song. The band has teamed up with Loudwire to exclusively bring you the track's music video, which you can see in the player above.

The clip finds the band, often in black silhouette, performing against a red backdrop, but the impactful portion of the clip comes on the conceptual side in which a young girl is horrified by the magnetic lure that technology and social media has on all of the people around her.

Frontman Elias Soriano tells us, "This video says it all. [Director] Eric [Richter], his team, the actors and actresses knocked it out of park with direction, story and performance. It's my favorite video to date and shows people what they can expect from us and our show. The game has changed and this is just a taste of what to expect this year from Nonpoint ... We're out for blood."

When the single was initially released, Soriano stated, "Over the past five years, I began to notice people, myself included, getting lost in a few of the simple things – life, art, passions. Everything became a reality TV blog with pictures and comments, likes and dislikes, online bullies and online tough guys. And no one is talking anymore. Everything is texts, emails, replies and denies. They’re all anchors. They all suck the life out of life. It creates zombies with unhinged appetites. It’s a real zombie apocalypse and, motherf--ker, I’m grabbing a machete and a shotgun."

"Generation Idiot" is featured on Nonpoint's new album, The Poison Red, which is due on July 8 via Spinefarm Records. You can pick up the disc via Amazon or iTunes or in a variety of bundle options here. Look for Nonpoint on tour at these locations.
