Take the Weekend to Explore Oklahoma, Have an Irish Pub Meal
I think it would be a fair assumption to guess that most Oklahomans, at some point throughout the month, will seek out a new place to eat. Whether it's a newly-opened eatery or a place they've simply never been, most people are at least a little adventurous, right?
That was our day here in Southwest Oklahoma. A new tiny casino recently opened in Cache with a Wahlburger's restaurant inside.
Of course, I was the only person in our group of friends who didn't know the Wahlburgs were in the burger business, something about a TV show rabble-rabble, but we decided to try it today.
First time I've ever had a meatball sandwich. It was a wild and tasty experience. Whether or not it was worth the $26 per person, including tip, that's for you to decide.
As we sat there talking about food, the topic of Irish pubs came up. It's been a while since any of us has had a full Irish breakfast. I can't remember what came up, but our annual St Patty's trip to OKC for Irish brunch didn't happen this year. Still, we sat there like a bunch of big backs talking up and debating which Irish pubs were the best.
Hours later, I'm still thinking about it. It might be time for the first Oklahoma summer road trip.
If you're adventurous and down for a massive plate of tasty and horribly unhealthy eats, here are a few Irish pubs with the best reviews in Oklahoma.
